Mrs. Frank B. Reno was suffering from growths on her lower eyelids diagnosed as obstructed tear ducts, which impaired her sight. Following the administration of oil and prayer by Elders H. A. McQuarrie and German E. Elsworth, the tumors disappeared and her sight was restored.
In Their Own Words
“My wife at that time was afflicted with a growth on each of her lower eyelids, termed by our physician obstructed tear ducts, by reason of which her sight was greatly impaired. He had advised at different times that in order to save her sight it would be necessary to have them operated on by a specialist. This I explained to Elders McQuarrie and Elsworth, telling them that I intended to take my wife to Indianapolis as soon as my means would permit of it. They explained the principle of divine healing and said that if we believed we should see the power of the Lord manifested. I told them I believed and asked them to administer to my wife. They anointed her eyes with oil, calling on the name of the Lord, and to the surprise of our neighbors and friends the tumors left her eyes. She was restored to her complete sight, and is to-day praising God for His blessing bestowed upon us.”
