Healing of Lorenzo D. Young through Joseph A. Young's administration

“My sons and Joseph A. administered to me a number of times, and I will here mention one thing. After administering to me one morning Joseph A. jumped into his buggy and, in company with one of the brethren went fifteen miles to a little settlement, held a meeting there and returned home before sundown, back to Kanab. He attended some forty meetings in thirty days, and this was one of them. He came in at night, and I was lying on the bed in a little back room, and he came in and said—‘Uncle Lorenzo, how do you feel?’ Said I—‘Joseph, I am not in as much pain as I was this morning, but I am sick.’ Said he—‘I know you are,’ and he pushed to the door and put his hands on me and prayed with all the fervency of his soul and I felt that his prayer was heard, and before his hands were removed from me the renovating power of God ran through my system, and from that moment I received strength, and the next day I traveled twenty-seven miles over roughest road in the Kanab country.”
