George Reynolds, during a journey to Salt Lake City, experienced the protection of God from Indians and was also the recipient of kindness from strangers in Delaware who administered to his needs while he recovered from a 'bruised and mutilated body.'
In Their Own Words
“I have received the greatest care and attention from entire strangers during my stay in Newark, and from my old friends in Delaware. Every hand was held out to administer to my wants, to soothe my pain, and heal my bruised and mutilated body. May the God of our fathers reward them for their kindness unto me. — Millennial Star 28:11”
