Elder Thomas Williams, an experienced member of the Church of 38 years, testified to witnessing the manifestations of the power of God, including the gift of tongues, the interpretation of tongues, the healing of the sick, and the spirit of prophecy being fulfilled in the lives of both young and old converts.
In Their Own Words
“I have been a member of the Church for thirty-eight years, and during that time I have had many opportunities of witnessing the power of God made manifest. I have been a witness to the gift of tongues and the interpretation of tongues. I have seen the power of God made manifest in the healing of the sick; also the spirit of prophecy resting on the young and old, and years after have seen those prophecies fulfilled to the very letter. These things prove to me that God lives, and that He is the same yesterday, to-day and forever, that He has spoken from the heavens and commenced His great work which will surely be accomplished, and all the wicked of all peoples, sects and parties shall serve Him, and all the learned men in the world cannot withstand or prevent the accomplishment of His purposes.”
