Elder Owen P. Beal, a missionary who had done a splendid work in London and was preparing to return home, fell seriously ill just days before his scheduled departure. Through the power of God, he made a complete recovery and was able to travel to Zion.

“Elder Beal was taken very seriously ill a few days before he was going to sail for home, but now, through the power of God, is entirely well and is going to Zion with Elder Whitehead. — Millennial Star 72:5”
