Cassie Clegg, feeling lost and desperate, knelt to pray and later dreamt she was wandering in a forest. She was guided by an angel who revealed herself to be Jennie and led her to a beautiful white city. This dream initiated Cassie's change of heart and reconciliation with Jennie.

In Their Own Words

“At that moment a touch was felt upon her shoulder and looking up she saw a beautiful angel beside her. She was bidden to rise and follow. ... After many hours they came in sight of a beautiful white city. The angel paused, and throwing her arms caressingly around the girl she said, ‘Cassie, don’t you know me? I am Jennie, and I came to show you the way home, to the beautiful home yonder,’ she said, as she pointed to the white city in the distance. While making an effort to thank her gentle guide Cassie awoke. — The Young Woman's Journal 7:4”
