Bird Robinson, a Latter-day Saint mother in Fillmore, writes that she has frequently exercised her privilege to anoint her children with consecrated olive oil and lay hands on them to ask God for healing when they are sick or injured, stating that He has answered these prayers on many occasions.
In Their Own Words
“If a child of mine is sick or meets with an accident, it is my privil to anoint that child with olive oil, blessed and set apart fur the purpose, and to lay hands on the child and ask the kind Father to heal it, which He has done on many occasions. What a comfort this privilege is toa loving mother. — Millennial Star 51:37”
