While laboring in Portsmouth, A. B. Case was afflicted with painful boils for two months. During a priesthood meeting in London on April 18, 1909, his pain became acute. President Charles W. Penrose and President Alvin E. Jordan administered to him, and he was immediately healed of the pain and regained the ability to move his neck.
In Their Own Words
“Later while laboring in Portsmouth I was afflicted with boils for about two months. At times the pain which they caused me was almost unbearable. I was unable to do my work. I came to 'Deseret,' London, to attend the conference there on the 18th of the present month. While in priesthood meeting the following day the pain became so acute that I was compelled to leave the meeting. Later I requested President Charles W. Penrose and President Alvin E. Jordan to administer to me. They did so, and the pain left me immediately; I was then able to move my neck, which I had not been able to do for several days.”
