Arthur M. Gledhill's healing from a knee injury

While living in Denver, Arthur M. Gledhill became acquainted with the Church and applied for baptism. Before the baptism could take place, he injured his left knee and was hospitalized for nine weeks. He was administered to by two Elders and healed instantly, allowing him to walk to the hospital.

Brother Arthur M. Gledhill, of Denver, Colorado, writes: 'I was living in Denver, and became acquainted with the Church, and applied for baptism. Before the baptism could take place, I injured my left knee, and was taken to the hospital, where I remained for nine weeks. I was administered to by Elders Taylor and Horats, and William O. Clive, and was healed instantly, so that I walked to the hospital and back, and was baptized the next day.'
In Their Own Words
“While living in Denver I had the fortune to become acquainted with the Saints there, and incidentally the Elders Taylor, Horats, William O. Clive and others. After becoming thoroughly convinced of the authenticity of the message borne by them, I made application for baptism; but before the day appointed for this ordinance to take place I threw my left knee out of joint and was taken to the hospital, where I remained nine weeks, and was prayed for by two Elders, and came out perfectly healed and walked home. — Millennial Star 60:11”
