Anthony Obinna, a Nigerian man who had been searching for the true Church, received a vision and spiritual confirmation that led him to believe in the restored gospel. Without any contact with LDS missionaries, he and his followers organized themselves into a group they called 'The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Nigeria Branch.' They maintained this organization and studied available literature for years, waiting for the arrival of authorized missionaries to perform baptisms. He described the vision as one of a temple, and he and his followers waited thirteen years for the arrival of missionaries and the opportunity to be baptized and sealed, sustained by that revelation. Years later, upon first seeing the building in person, he recognized it as the exact structure from his dream — "It was exactly the same building that I had seen in my dreams."
