During a winter of extreme hardship, James Holt and his family were in dire need of food. Holt recorded that the Lord opened a way for him to obtain a small amount of flour, an event he described as appearing almost like a miracle to some.

In Their Own Words

“Many things turned up for our sustenance which would look almost like a miracle to some. There was one time during the winter that the Lord opened a way for me to get a few pounds of flour without. — James Holt, Biographical Sketch of James Holt (1881)”
