Helen Seaman, who rejected motherhood to pursue an artistic career, experienced a vision while in her bedroom. She was led by a guardian angel to a celestial mansion filled with spirit children. There, she chose and bonded with two spirit children who she realized were her own intended children. This experience transformed her perspective, leading her to desire the motherhood she had previously refused.
In Their Own Words
“Suddenly. Helen sat up in bed in astonishment. What was this? Was she dreaming? Could this be an angel standing beside her bed? 'I am thy guardian angel,' said the vision, softly, 'Come with me.' Helen arose and followed the shining figure. They passed through the wall of the room, and out into the night air. They seemed to be floating through space, until they reached a beautiful, celestial mansion. The angel led her into a large, sunlit room, where hundreds of children were playing. They were the most beautiful children Helen had ever seen. 'These are the spirit children,' said the angel, 'who are waiting to be born into the world.' Helen walked among them, her heart filled with a strange, new emotion. She felt a deep, yearning love for these little ones. As they drew closer, and each child took hold of her hand and smiled happily into her eyes with childish innocence and purity, Helen’s artistic heart went out toward them, in an overwhelming desire. She saw two children, a boy and a girl, who seemed to beckon to her. She felt a sudden, powerful bond with them. 'These are your children, Helen,' said the angel. 'They have been waiting for you.' Helen reached out and took their hands. A feeling of peace and joy flooded her soul. She knew then that she wanted to be a mother. She wanted to bring these children into the world and love them as her own. 'Go with the children, Helen,' said the angel. 'Then shalt the scale of selfishness fall from thine eyes.' Helen awoke in her bed, the memory of the vision still vivid in her mind. She looked at her husband, John, who was sleeping peacefully beside her. She felt a new love for him, and a new purpose in her life. She knew that her life would never be the same again.”
