Joy Bennion: A Faithful Daughter of the Bennion Line
Contributed by
LDS Witness Archive
Joy Bennion is a faithful Latter-day Saint of the Bennion family, a lineage that for more than a century and a half has given bishops, educators, mission presidents, an apostle, and a Congressional Medal of Honor hero to the Church. Like the many women of the Bennion line whose quiet fidelity has sustained the family's legacy of faith, she has carried forward the heritage of devotion and service that came down from the Welsh pioneers of 1847. Her life is a faith-promoting witness that the Lord's promises to the faithful are kept not only in the prominent callings but in the quiet, consecrated lives of the daughters of Zion, generation upon generation.
