Before embarking on his missionary journeys, Benjamin Brown received a vision in which his future sufferings were revealed to him. This foreknowledge prepared him spiritually for the trials and persecutions he would face as a missionary. The vision showed him that he would endure great hardships, including attacks, false accusations, and physical danger. This prophetic vision, given before the trials occurred, demonstrated God's desire to prepare His servants for coming difficulties and the assurance that these sufferings were foreseen and permitted by Him.
