A brother in the Shropshire Conference was unemployed and had no prospect of work. He prayed for deliverance, and after the prayer, his situation improved and he found employment.

Fuller account of this event (the complete account as preserved in The Latter-day Saints' Millennial Star, Vol. 24, No. 30, 26 July 1862, p. 476):

A brother in the Shropshire Conference, who had been for some time out of employment, and saw no prospect of obtaining any, made his case a subject of prayer, and the Lord heard him, and opened the way for him to get work.
