Elder Robert W. Currie, a local Elder in India, had been suffering for three or four days from severe pain in his back accompanied by fever, which reached an excruciating level. He chose to avoid medicine and instead requested the ordinance of administration for the sick. Following the meeting on Wednesday, the ordinance was performed, and he reported being completely free from pain and feeling better than he had for some time.

Elder Robert W. Currie, a local Elder in India, had been suffering for three or four days from severe pain in his back accompanied by fever, which reached an excruciating level. He chose to avoid medicine and instead requested the ordinance of administration for the sick. Following the meeting on Wednesday, the ordinance was performed, and he reported being completely free from pain and feeling better than he had for some time.

“He had for three or four days been suffering from a severe pain in the back, accompanied with fever. The pain was getting worse and worse, and was at times excruciating. He felt moved to have nothing to do with medicine, but to go to the Lord, by having the ordinance for the sick administered to him. This was done after the meeting on Wednesday, and he could honestly say that he was now free from pain, and felt better in health than he did for some time previously. — Millennial Star 65:49”
