In a prayer meeting, Joseph Smith asked those present who they supposed was with them. When a participant suggested Christ, the Prophet confirmed it, saying the Lord had revealed this to them.
In Their Own Words
“Sister Lucy Walker Smith, wife of the Prophet related an incident which occurred at a prayer meeting, when Joseph asked those present “Who do you suppose was with us to-night?” One of those present replied “Christ,” when the Prophet responded “The Lord has revealed this unto you.” — Millennial Star 57:3”
