Jas. L. Patterson, while serving as a missionary in the United States, was blessed with the opportunity to convert and baptize his own mother in the State of Massachusetts.

In Their Own Words

“I have carried the Gospel to a portion of my father’s family, have had the satisfaction of baptizing my own mother in the State of Massachusetts, and have taken joy throughout all m labors, and have felt that the Spirit of God has been with me, and I have rejoiced that I was led to render obedience to the requirements of heaven — Millennial Star 51:31”
