An unnamed woman in Switzerland who had been confined to her bed for some months was healed after Elder Hug administered to her. The recovery was so sudden that the following day she walked four and a half miles to receive the ordinances of the Gospel.
Fuller account of this event (the complete account as preserved in The Latter-day Saints' Millennial Star, Vol. 18, No. 10, 8 March 1856, p. 157):
A woman in one of the Swiss Cantons, who had been confined to her bed for some months, was administered to by Elder Hug, and was so far restored that she walked four and a half miles the next day to receive the ordinances of the Gospel.
