An unnamed brother in the Sunderland Branch, who had been sick for some time, was visited by Elders who, acting in the name of Jesus of Nazareth, commanded him to rise and walk. The man was immediately healed and was seen in the street in good health shortly after. The account was witnessed by the Elders and others present.

“Another case of healing occurred in the Sunderland Branch, at 39, Chilton Street, Sunderland, on May 12th. A brother, who had been sick for some time, and felt himself unable to move, was visited by the Elders who had been called upon him.
