A brother in Thun, father of a large family, had been sick for years due to a sickness in his house and was given up by doctors. Elder John Huber administered to him, and he subsequently recovered, becoming healthier than he ever was before.

“Another case happened at Thun: A brother who is the father of a large family, and who had been sick for years in consequence of sickness in his house, he would be in the grave. I tried to encourage him, and told him that the Lord would rather see him raise up his children, than to have them turned over to the world to be destroyed, at least morally so. After some conversation I administered to him, and now he is as well and lively as anybody, healthier, he says, than he ever was in all his life.”
