During a monthly sacrament and testimony meeting in Christiania, Norway, individuals requested an ordinance for the healing of the sick. About ten people responded and were administered to by the priesthood.
In Their Own Words
“On Sunday, April 21, we held a conference in Christiania. The meetings were well attended, and a good spirit prevailed. Immediately after the opening exercises the announcement was made that if there were any persons present who desired the ordinance for the healing of the sick it would now be attended to, and about ten responded. Elders James L. McMurrin and H. A. Pedersen administered to them, and the power of God was made manifest in a remarkable manner. Several of those who were administered to testified at the close of the meeting that they had been healed of their infirmities, and all felt that they had been greatly blessed. The Saints in Christiania are full of faith and are doing a good work.”
