While imprisoned in the penitentiary, President Angus M. Cannon was miraculously healed of a severe affliction that appeared to require the attention of a skilled surgeon, which was denied to him.
In Their Own Words
“I must not neglect to acknowledge the goodness of the Lord, who miraculously healed me of a sore affliction that appeared to require the attention of a skilled surgeon (this, however, was denied me). With the exception of this trouble, I have enjoyed excellent health, and now weigh 170 pounds. — Millennial Star 48:13”
