The young son of Mr. Ernest Agutter was healed through the power of the Lord, leading to the mother's baptism and the softening of the grandfather's heart.
Fuller account of this event (the complete account as preserved in The Latter-day Saints' Millennial Star, Vol. 67, No. 6, 9 February 1905, p. 94):
Brother Ernest Agutter, of Northampton, writes: 'I am pleased to report that my little boy, who was so ill, has been healed through the power of the Lord. My wife has been baptized, and my father-in-law, who was very much opposed to the truth, has had his heart softened, and is now reading our literature.'
