A woman who had been baptized into the Church about two months prior and who had previously required a machine to walk, was able to walk without it and without pain following baptism and the administration of the ordinances.

Fuller account of this event (the complete account as preserved in The Latter-day Saints' Millennial Star, Vol. 48, No. 48, 29 November 1886, p. 763):

A sister in Groningen, who had been baptized about two months, and who had been unable to walk without the aid of a machine, was, after baptism and the administration of the ordinances, able to walk without it and without pain.

In Their Own Words

“The power and blessings of the Gospel have attended our labors; some of the sick have been healed through their faith and the administration of the ordinances. One lady, who was baptized about two. months ago, and who was not able to walk ten steps without a machine, before baptism, is able to walk all she wants without it, and never has any pain whatever. — Millennial Star 48:48”
