A lady suffering from three months of affliction, who had unsuccessfully prayed for healing, finally reached a state of intense spiritual communion and poured out her soul in prayer. Upon finishing, she discovered she was totally healed.

In Their Own Words

“One evening she was alone in her bed room, and she commenced to commune with her own soul—as the palmist expresses it—that is, she reasoned with herself about her desparate condition. Then she began to utter her feelings to her Heavenly Father, and she finished up with these very same soul cries or bosom agonies. Her whole soul was poured out before her God in prayer and supplication. She marveled at His tender merey and compassion; when her amen followed she discovered that she was totally healed. ... She wrote me a detailed account of it and the letter is now and ever will be in my keeping. — The Young Woman's Journal 9:4”
