After walking to Chunar and praying for the Lord to send someone to invite them into a home, an elderly gentleman and a young man approached the Elders at their shanty and insisted they accept the hospitality of their house.
Fuller account of this event (in the witness’s own words):
We arrived at the Serai on the evening of the 28th December, much fatigued and much sunburnt. The following evening, just as we had risen from our knees, after asking the Lord to send some one to invite us to his house, an elderly gentleman and a young one came and stood at the entrance of our shanty, and asked us to speak with us, having been informed of our arrival. They ended with insisting upon us partaking of the hospitality of their house. We accepted the invitation, and found it to be a very comfortable one, and the gentleman, Mr. Green, a very kind and hospitable person.
