Elder Edwin T. Woolley served a mission in the Manchester Conference from April 1884 to 1886. During his tenure, he labored across three districts alongside several companions, including Elders Robert Johnson, Asahel Woodruff, George H. Fowers, William C. B. Orrock, and Nephi Y. Schofield. Throughout his service, he performed ten baptisms and blessed a number of children. Woolley frequently participated in the administration of the sick, where he repeatedly experienced the influence of the Holy Spirit and expressed profound gratitude in witnessing their subsequent recoveries. Upon returning to his home in Paris, Bear Lake County, Idaho, he documented these spiritual experiences in a letter to President Daniel H. Wells, noting that he held his missionary service in high esteem and considered the experience gained to be 'beyond price.'
