Elder Peay related the circumstances of his conversion to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He followed the scriptural injunction found in James 1:5, 'If any man lack wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth liberally and upbraideth not,' and experienced the fulfillment of that promise.

In Their Own Words

“Elder Peay said he embraced the opportunity afforded him with pleasure, because he could speak to the truth of this work; related the circumstances connected with his conversion to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, by following the injunction: ‘If any man lack wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth liberally and upbraideth not,’ and his earnest desire was gratified, and the Savior’s promise verified. — Millennial Star 52:12”
