While preaching in the district, Elder A. N. Macfarlane recounts a past injury where he hurt his ankle. At that time, President Carrington provided a prophecy regarding the good that would come from the injury, which Macfarlane initially doubted. Now, in the present, he testifies that the prophecy was literally fulfilled to his heartfelt satisfaction, proving the Lord's mysterious way of working.
In Their Own Words
“This brings to my mind the prophecy uttered by you when I hurt my ankle. I must confess I could not see what good would come of so severe a hurt; it was nevertheless literally fulfilled to my heartfelt satisfaction, and proved to me that God moves in a mysterious way his wonders to perform. — Millennial Star 43:30”
