Elder C. E. Malm, while preaching the gospel in Glenvale, Australia, faced severe opposition, including being stoned and pelted with rotten eggs by locals.

In Their Own Words

“Elder C. E. Malm is preaching the Gospel and doing the best he can to build up the kingdom. He is at a place called Glenvale, where he works for his bread in the week, and preaches on Sundays, sometimes at his house, and sometimes at other places in the district. He has had great opposition—has been stoned and pelted with rotten eggs, and received other blessings of the like nature from the good, kind Christians of his neighborhood. — Millennial Star 30:13”
