A woman whose daughter was killed by Indians while traveling from Richfield to Glenwood, Utah, had a dream where her daughter appeared with an unnamed woman. The daughter stated she did not want to return to earth. When the mother asked about the husband of the unnamed woman (who was killed in the same attack), the girl replied they had not seen him because he had been cut off from the Church for misconduct shortly before his death. They also prophesied that Louis Lund would be sent on a mission and would take care of them. A few days later, Louis Lund was killed by Indians.
Fuller account of this event (the complete account as preserved in The Latter-day Saints' Millennial Star, 7 September 1867 (Vol. 29, No. 36), p. 574):

In Their Own Words
“Sometime after this sad occurrence the mother of the young girl that was killed had a dream, or night vision, in which the girl appeared to her mother accompanied by the woman. The girl said to her mother—Do not mourn or feel bad for me, for I would not come back to the earth if I could. The mother of the girl then asked the woman where her husband was that was killed at the same time? She answered—We have not seen him since our spirits left their bodies. The husband was cut off from the Church for misconduct a short time before. They said to the mother that Louis Lund was going to be sent on a mission soon, and he would take care of them. A few days after this dream Louis Lund, of Fountain Green, was shot by the Indians. — Millennial Star 29:36”
