Albert William Orriss, having been disillusioned by various Christian denominations, prayed for truth and guidance. He describes meeting Sister Frances Wagstaff in a simple, incidental manner, which he interpreted as a direct answer to his prayers and divine intervention leading him to the Church.

In Their Own Words

“I made her acquaintance in the most simple, incidental manner, which to me so fully reveals the hand of God and points to a direct answer to all my prayers, and so led me to continue with all diligence the search after those truths so clearly revealed in the 'Articles of Faith' and other 'Mormon' works. — Millennial Star 69:45”
