Martha Ann Prior Jarvis — Vision of the St. George Temple

Before the St. George Temple was completed, Martha Ann Prior Jarvis experienced a dream or vision in which she saw the building in its finished, glorious state. She described seeing the white walls and the sacred nature of the work to be done there at a time when the community was struggling with the arduous labor of its construction. This vision served as a source of encouragement for her and her husband, George, who was a master mason working on the temple, confirming to them that their sacrifices were recognized by heaven.
