Philip L. Barlow: Latter-day Saint Scholar and Author of 'Mormons and the Bible'

Philip L. Barlow is a Latter-day Saint scholar whose 'Mormons and the Bible: The Place of the Latter-day Saints in American Religion' (Oxford University Press) has been called a work with 'all the markings of a Mormon classic.' Trained at Harvard, Brother Barlow has served in Mormon studies (including holding the Leonard J. Arrington chair of Mormon history and culture at Utah State University) and has written on the place of the Latter-day Saints in American religion, casting Joseph Smith's mission into a new frame.
