Eliza R. Snow, under divine guidance, traveled to settlements of indigenous peoples including Thistle Valley (Indianola) in Sanpete County and Washakie in Box Elder County. She organized Relief Societies and Primary associations among these communities, extending the blessings and spiritual support of the restored church. These organizational efforts, guided by the Spirit and her leadership, represent divine intervention in bringing spiritual opportunities to indigenous communities. Her travels and organizational work demonstrated the hand of Providence in expanding the Lord's work.
