Wilford Woodruff documented a remarkable deliverance from cholera plague at Zion's Camp. He recorded: 'Joseph called the brethren together and told them if they would humble themselves before the Lord, and covenant to keep his commandments and obey his counsel, the plague should be stayed from that hour, and there should not be another case of cholera in the camp. The brethren covenanted to do this, and the plague was stayed, and there was not another case in camp.' This remarkable intervention demonstrated the Lord's power over disease.
