In Ebenezer Robinson's powerful testimony, he recorded a harrowing experience during his youthful struggles with skepticism: 'The adversary, previous to this had tried hard and was determined to crush me. I plead with the Lord to help me, and said, "Oh Lord, take it away. I want none of it, don't let if follow me." It immediately vanished and my spirit was taken from my body at least for 10 hours before it returned.' This dramatic deliverance from evil forces demonstrates the power of prayer and divine protection from Satan's assaults. When Ebenezer called upon the Lord in faith, the adversary's influence was immediately broken. The experience of his spirit being separated from his body for an extended period became evidence to him of the reality of the spirit world and God's power to protect His children from evil forces. This testimony became foundational to his understanding that 'God is able to protect us from all evil and darkness.'
