Pillar of Light Hovers Over Baptismal Site in Kirtland

Multiple witnesses in Kirtland, Ohio observed supernatural signs during the early establishment of the Church. A pillar of light appeared every evening for more than a month, hovering directly over the place where the Saints were baptizing converts. This heavenly manifestation occurred in the presence of both Saints and strangers, testifying to all that God was witnessing and blessing the ordinance of baptism.
