Joseph Smith's Vision of the Greenes' Missouri Journey - Prophetic Fulfillment

At a blessing meeting held at the house of John P. Greene in Kirtland in 1836, Joseph Smith had a vision concerning the journey of the Greene family to Missouri. During the meeting, Joseph witnessed in vision that the family's wagon would turn over on their journey. However, in this miraculous vision, he saw that no one would be injured in the accident. After the meeting, the prophecy was fulfilled exactly as Joseph had seen it - the wagon did indeed turn over, but all family members were preserved from harm. This vision demonstrated Joseph Smith's genuine prophetic calling and the Lord's protective hand over the faithful Saints.

“"We also would attend a blessing at Dr Frederick G Williams. His eldest daughter had been lately married, and was about to leave for Missouri: he therefore blest her family previous to their leaving. He laid his hands upon each of their heads, and the scribe wrote them (the blessings). The prophet Joseph was present and had a vision of their journey, saw their wagon turn over, but no one was injured. It came to pass even as he said."”
