Elizabeth Campbell Edwards' Healing Through Priesthood Blessing

In 1831, Esaias Edwards married Elizabeth Campbell on August 27th. About a week after their marriage, Elizabeth was taken with fever and lay very low for about six weeks. However, through faith in the priesthood and God's blessing, she gained her strength and recovered. This healing was significant in the Edwards family's history during the early years of the Church, as it allowed them to continue their labors together in building up the community in Illinois.
