Levi Hancock's Lame Horse Miraculously Healed Overnight After Baptism

After being baptized by Parley P. Pratt in Kirtland, Ohio in November 1830, Levi Hancock went to stay the night at Father Isaac Morley's home. The next morning he discovered his horse was severely lame:

'In the morning I called for my horse and was told where I could find him. When I found him he was so lame he could scarcely go. I didn't know what to do but concluded not to go to New Lyme that day.'

He made arrangements to go to Mayfield instead with Oliver Cowdery. Then:

'I then went for my horse calculating that it would take me all day to get to Mayfield, but to my joy and satisfaction I beheld my horse well and got on his back and he went off as well as ever.'

The horse that 'could scarcely go' that morning was found to be completely well — on the very day of Levi's baptism and ordination as an Elder.
